Manaslu Region

Manaslu Region

Encircling the world’s eighth highest mountain, Mount Manaslu (8,163m), the Manaslu region offers one of Nepal’s most authentic trekking experiences. On the western side of Kathmandu, this region sits between Annapurna and Ganesh Himal. This region is famous for its deep river valleys, terraced farmlands, high-altitude desert, and glaciers. You’ll reach this through beautiful subtropical forests.

This region introduces you to Tibetan-influenced villages, Buddhist monasteries, mani walls and prayer flags. This region is not as popular as Everest or Annapurna, making it less commercialized, less crowded and more remote, but equally rewarding.
