DETAILED ITINERARY Manaslu Circuit Trek

A Trek O'Clock representative will welcome you at Tribhuvan International Airport. After airport formalities, transfer to your hotel. Relax, recover from your flight, and prepare for the journey ahead. Overnight in Kathmandu.

The trek preparation day starts with a greet and meet with the trekking team. Interact with our trek guide for a trek briefing. All documentation process takes place and we look after them, so there is no need to worry. You only need to provide us with the essential documents.

There is an optional Kathmandu Sightseeing for interested travelers at an additional charge. Overnight in Kathmandu.

 A vehicle drive to Soti Khola commences after breakfast. Admire the beautiful scenery throughout the way from Kathmandu to Soti Khola. Pass the Trishuli River and navigate to Arughat through dense forests. Drive along the western bank of the Budhi Gandaki River to arrive at the lovely village of Soti Khola.

Overnight at a mountain lodge. (Optional: Private jeep is available with applicable extra cost.)

Walk on the bridge over the Soti Khola passing through dense forest. Traverse through the beautiful settlements of Labubensi and Khanbensi following the banks of the Budhi Gandaki River. Enjoy the beautiful mountain vistas in the backdrop. The trail section is a little bit demanding but achievable.

Walk on a narrow trail for the final part of the trek to arrive at Machha Khola. Overnight at a mountain lodge.

The trek starts ascending to the hill farmlands of the Gurung settlement. It passes through the lovely villages of Khorla Bensi, Tatopani, Dovan, Thulo Dunga, and Yaruphant. During the trek, relish the picturesque views and hot water springs. Reach Jagat for an overnight stay.

The trek commences after the official personnel of the Manaslu Conservation Area verify our permits. The trail proceeds northward, guiding us through attractive villages such as Salleri, Philim, and Chisopani.

We traverse forests of towering pine and bamboo, providing a splendid opportunity to observe eagles in their natural habitat, as well as stunning waterfalls. We ultimately arrive at Deng for an overnight stay.

The trail advances northward along the banks of the Budhi Gandaki River. Following ascent and descent trails, we navigate through enchanting forests and admire magnificent waterfalls. We arrive at the charming village of Rana before continuing our trek to Bihi Phedi, where we stop to rest and enjoy lunch.

The path remains narrow and undulating, offering breathtaking scenery throughout. Our trek concludes as we cross the Shringi Khola and reach the picturesque village of Ghap. We continue our walk towards Namrung and stay overnight.

We come across more settlements than on the previous day. We cross the Budhi Gandaki River and traverse through various settlements and terraced fields. After crossing the Hinan river, then ascend to Sho. The phenomenal place to relish the breathtaking views of Manaslu, Manaslu North, and the surrounding peaks.

After walking for a few hours, arrive at Lho for an overnight stay.

Walk on a descending trail and then follow the ascending trail. Along the path, we come across small Tibetan Nepali villages, allowing us to observe the rich tapestry of Tibetan culture and traditions. Here, you may also learn about the practice of polyandry, a common custom in Tibetan society.

The journey to Sama Gao is further enhanced by the spectacular views of Mt. Manaslu, the Manaslu Glacier, Nadi Chuli Peak, Naike Peak, and several other majestic summits, along with a significant Tibetan community. Overnight at a mountain lodge.

An acclimatization day is spent exploring the surrounding area. A hike to Pungen Gumba allows to adapt to the elevation and treats you with the stunning Himalayan views. Attaining the spiritual aura while visiting the Gumba is a surreal experience. After a wonderful excursion, return to Sama Gaon.

Follow the ascending trail toward the Budhi Gandaki River. Along this trail, we encounter a beautiful stream cascading over the rocky riverbed. Pass through several Buddhist mani walls as we ascend toward the picturesque village of Samdo. Overnight at a mountain lodge.

The trail slowly ascends to Dharmashala, where we are rewarded with a panoramic view of the snow-capped Himalayas. The altitude is gaining, so trek gradually at your own pace. Admiring the scenery, we continue to trek and finally arrive at Dharmashala. Overnight at a mountain lodge.

Climb slowly on an ascending trail following the guidelines towards Larkya La Pass. It is challenging as the elevation rises, but with strong determination, one can cross it. Upon reaching the summit of Larkey La Pass, get welcomed by the stunning views of Mt.

Annapurna II, Himlung, Cheo Himal, Gyaji Kang, Larkey Peak, Namjung Himal, Ratnachuli, and others. After that, the trail descends toward Bimthang. The scenery along the descent is beautiful. Overnight at a mountain lodge.

The trek commences with a descent toward Karche, following the course of the Dudh Khola. We navigate through a dense rhododendron forest, adorned with blooming flowers during the spring season, offering magnificent views of Mt. Manaslu and other snow-capped peaks.

Reach Karche and follow the descending trail along the riverbank of the Dudh Khola. After two hours of walking, arrive at the charming Gurung village of Tilije for an overnight stay.

Traverse the trail alongside the Marshyangdi River. After a brief walk, arrive at Dharapani, where we find local transportation to Besishahar. The jeep journey takes 3 to 4 hours. We spend the night at a hotel in Besishahar.

Head to Kathmandu after breakfast. Enjoy the surroundings and get transferred to the hotel for rest. Join us in the evening for a farewell dinner. Enjoy the last night in Kathmandu at an authentic Nepali restaurant or meals of preference. Overnight in Kathmandu.
