Before you reach it, Nepal already pulls attention; some imagine the silhouette of Everest, others think of temple bells or quiet village trails. Small on the map yet astonishingly diverse, it packs high peaks, thick lowland forests, ancient towns, and deeply rooted traditions into a single destination.
The landscapes here shift quickly: the Terai’s plains and wildlife reserves give way to the hills of Kathmandu and Pokhara, and then to the towering Himalayan peaks. High trails pull trekkers towards Everest, Annapurna, and Langtang, while the south offers jungle safaris where rhinos and tigers roam.
