Trek O’Clock is more than a travel site — it's a gathering of daydreamers who actually lace up and go. We simplify trek planning, share real trail experiences, and celebrate every kind of trekker: from first-timers with borrowed backpacks to seasoned
We created Trek O’Clock because we were tired of waiting for the “perfect time” to trek. Now we help thousands of adventurers stop waiting and start walking — with honest guides, real trail stories
Trek O’Clock started with a simple realization — we were always saying “someday” to the treks we dreamed of. Someday turned into never, so we decided to make time for the trails instead.
Nepal, a small landlocked country in South Asia, is a well known destination for adventurers from all over the world. While terms like Everest, Sherpa, Gurkha and Himalayas are enough for most travelers and academicians to trigger their knowledge about Nepal, there are those who may not have even heard what or where Nepal is.
Nepal is blessed with incredible floral and faunal diversity because of great variation in its altitude (60m from sea level to 8848m), and variation in geography of Nepal (from lowlands of Terai plain to the gigantic Himalayas in the north), resulting in at least five distinct climatic zones. Nepal stands unrivaled in this aspect in the world, since this variation is compacted within the breadth of 193 km and a total length of 885 km.
If you are not familiar with this magical land blessed with natural wonders and heritage, our Nepal destination guide will definitely enlighten you and help you gain some useful insights into Nepal. From Nepal’s history to geography and climate, from important tips about getting visa for Nepal to interesting tales about the Nepalese cultures and festivals, our Nepal destination guide section serves valuable information about Nepal. And if you already know enough about the country and have enlisted it as your destination for your upcoming holiday trip, you can choose from the numerous holiday packages including trekking, hiking, mountaineering, rafting, sightseeing, peak climbing, jungle safari, day trips, etc.
